Boddhi and the Superbowl

Conversation between Boddhi and Dude last night:

Boddhi: "Dad?"

Dude: "Yes Boddhi."

Boddhi: "I want to watch a movie."

Dude: "We are not watching movies today. We are going to watch the Superbowl."

Boddhi (who has never heard of the Superbowl): "yippee. I'm so excited about that. I can't wait!"

Boddhi proceeds to run through the house, shouting "yippee" and "hooray".

a minute or two passes and Boddhi enters the bedroom again...

Boddhi: "Dad?"

Dude: "Yes, Boddhi."

Boddhi: "What is the Superbowl?"

Dude: "It is a football game."

Boddhi (now crying): "OH NO! That's not right. That's no fun. NO NO NO!"

Superbowl not so super to a four-year-old I guess.
